According to DigiPlus Interactive Corp (DigiPlus)'s report, the company's net profit in 2023 was 4.1 billion pesos, a year-on-year increase of more than 596%. This marks a sharp increase from the P894 million net loss suffered in 2021.
DigiPlus was previously part of Leisure and Resorts World Corp. Its main revenue comes from traditional live bingo games, the BingoPlus platform and other electronic games, accounting for more than 90% of the company's total revenue.
According to the company, the revenue growth in 2023 will be mainly driven by millions of Filipinos participating in physical game rooms and online bingo games.
DigiPlus said: "Revenue surged 306% to P27.3 billion in 2023 due to increased user traffic on our flagship bingo platform BingoPlus and sportsbook ArenaPlus, driven by contributions from new digital products."
AB Leisure Exponent Incorporated, a subsidiary of DigiPlus, is known as the pioneer of bingo in the Philippines. The company launched BingoPlus, also known as bingoplus.com, in January 2022 and has 20 million registered users to date.
BingoPlus is the Philippines' leading live bingo platform, exclusively licensed by the state-owned Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
According to DigiPlus, its bingo platform dominates the Philippine digital bingo market with a market share of 31%. In addition, BingoPlus has over 140 physical bingo sites across the country.
For all of 2023, DigiPlus' stock price rose 232%, making it one of the best-performing stocks on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
